ASCIA, OWNER & FOUNDER OF TED PACK DOGS — began her dog training journey in 2014 when she self-trained her first service dog, Prince Theodore (“TEDdie”). Through the challenges she overcame with Teddie, she discovered the incredible bond that can be built between dogs and their owners when given the right tools: clear communication, structure, effective training, and the opportunity to have fun together.

After spending two years training dogs at Petco and five years working under the guidance of an experienced professional dog trainer and mentor, Ascia gained extensive experience — not only training dogs and working directly with clients, but also mentoring aspiring and professional trainers, teaching multiple four-week trainer development courses, and managing a team of trainers. It was during this time that she earned the nickname “TED PACK”, inspired by her leadership style and the community of trainers and dogs she helped develop.

Ascia is a licensed & insured professional dog trainer, AKC Evaluator, NePoPo® Silver School Graduate, and certified in Canine CPR & First Aid. Her mission is to help owners build lasting relationships with their dogs through balanced training, clear communication, and real-world experiences.

Today, Ascia is accompanied by her service dog, Maverick, who serves as both her daily partner and a training demonstration dog. Together, they showcase the importance of clear communication, engagement, and practical obedience in real-world environments. When not working with clients, Ascia and Maverick enjoy training in dog sports and protection work, continually challenging themselves and strengthening their relationship through advanced training.
